Mechanical closing. Material-specific filtration.

Mechanical closing of the plate pack

The manual-jack catalogue describes a screw jack as the pressing device. This identifies the closing mechanism; it does not establish the complete feed system or the utilities needed for a filtration process.

Define the separation and handling

Filtration retains solids on the filter media while liquid passes through. Confirm the cloth, feed arrangement, cake handling and closing requirements for the selected manual chamber configuration.

Source: the supplied Manual Jack Filter Press catalogue. Its statement about no power supply concerns the described manual closing device; it is not a guarantee that an entire filtration installation needs no electrical equipment.

Understand this equipment family.

01

Screw-jack pressing device

The catalogue identifies the screw jack as the means of closing the filter pack. Ask for the selected model’s closing procedure and safe operating requirements rather than inferring them from the product photograph.

02

Filter plates and cloth

The source catalogue includes separate filter-plate and filter-cloth component references. The required cloth material and retention must be matched to the feed; they are not specified by the family name alone.

03

A range of reference sizes

The supplied sheet contains fourteen rows with different filtration areas, chamber volumes and plate counts. Actual plate dimensions are a separate column and must not be inferred from a model-code suffix.

¹ Reference row labels. Area and plate dimension identify a source row. Unclear model-code suffixes have not been reconstructed.

Read the plate-size column directly. The sheet pairs model groups containing /320, /450 and /630 with plate dimensions of 380 × 380, 500 × 500 and 700 × 700 mm. Those are different source fields. The table below preserves the actual plate dimensions and uses area/plate reference labels instead of reconstructing model codes.

The source sheet prints a filtration-pressure limit of ≤0.6 MPa. This is withheld from the comparison until the exact model and permitted operating conditions are confirmed. It is not a guaranteed duty rating for the photographed press.

No motor figure is supplied for these rows. Manual closing does not determine the power requirements of a separate feed pump or other equipment.

Source: the supplied Manual Chamber Filter Press parameter sheet, page1. Overall dimensions are source values; foundation figures are not used as installation instructions. Pressure ratings require model-specific verification.

Resolve the model-specific limits.

Check the complete working arrangement.

Provide the feed composition, solids loading, temperature, separation objective and intended method of moving the cake. Confirm pressure, media compatibility and the model-specific closing and handling requirements.

Model identification still required

The model-code and plate-size relationship needs supplier confirmation. Do not use a suffix as a plate measurement or the source table as an installation specification. No cycle time, throughput or ease-of-operation guarantee is asserted.

Structure, installation and care.

Identify the jack, pack and media.

The catalogue distinguishes the pressing device, filter plates and filter cloth. The two client-selected photographs show the family, but no dimensioned component or installation drawing has been matched to a model.

Request before installation or maintenance

A selected-model arrangement, foundation and connection schedule, closing instructions, plate and cloth replacement guidance, and an operating/maintenance manual. The supplied operation video has not been reviewed and is not presented as instructions.

Start with the actual material.

Mineral and chemical streams

The manual-jack catalogue lists coal washing, inorganic salts, chemicals and metallurgy.

Process industries

Alcohol production, pharmacy, food and textile applications are also listed. Required contact materials and hygiene conditions must be verified separately.

Environmental and energy contexts

The catalogue also mentions environmental protection, energy and coal/carbon-related uses. Share the actual stream and separation requirements before equipment selection.

Application names are catalogue context, not evidence of suitability or results for every feed material.

Evidence for the selected model.

Factory and equipment photographs are available in the supplied materials. A model-matched project record and complete certificate scope have not yet been verified.

Awaiting confirmation: certificate annex and applicable models, complete ISO evidence, project dates, photograph attribution and measured results. No certification badge or performance result is asserted here.
